Scam Season

1. The are sending out phony emails and putting up fake websites pretending to be banks, mortgage-services and even government agencies.
2. They work well because people think they are real, and then people get worried.
3. Yes, they called my cell phone and told me that my car warranty was up and that i need to pay or they would close it.
4. Don't respond the messages that you are not sure about, or open or forward them. Change your password frequently.
5. One scam is the Military men are selling their vehicles because they just got deployed. So people pay for the vehicle but never get the vehicle.
Another scam is to send in your information to the Oprah show and get tickets. but they get all of your info and you get nothing.
6. Auction Fraud is when they auction off stuff but it never gets delivered. The auctioneer sends you an email saying you won but says he is out of the states on a business trip, and has you transfer the money to a different bank.
