They are reducing the number of middlemen between artist and fans. This, Mr. Azoff said will be fairer to artist and lower tick prices.
2. The "economics of the concert business" are changing by the rise of online ticketing sites, brokers and resellers. So fans are paying more to attend concerts buy artist and venues are not seeing that addition revenue.
3. Ticketmaster's near-monopoly is being challenged by Stub Hub. Which is scalpers and other are finding ways to sell tickets at a much higher price than Ticketmaster.
4. The Eagles dealt only with Wal-mart when they released their album because, they made so much more then going and getting a label. The made approximately $50 million but with the record label they would have only made $10 million.

Scam Season
1. The are sending out phony emails and putting up fake websites pretending to be banks, mortgage-services and even government agencies.
2. They work well because people think they are real, and then people get worried.
3. Yes, they called my cell phone and told me that my car warranty was up and that i need to pay or they would close it.
4. Don't respond the messages that you are not sure about, or open or forward them. Change your password frequently.
5. One scam is the Military men are selling their vehicles because they just got deployed. So people pay for the vehicle but never get the vehicle.
Another scam is to send in your information to the Oprah show and get tickets. but they get all of your info and you get nothing.
6. Auction Fraud is when they auction off stuff but it never gets delivered. The auctioneer sends you an email saying you won but says he is out of the states on a business trip, and has you transfer the money to a different bank.
